Advice from your local 30A gym rat:
Real change isn’t loud. It’s built quietly, rep by rep, choice by choice.

During my years at @bendthebarfitness_ I’ve fallen more times than I can count— in my businesses, through relationships, in bodybuilding. And every time, I’ve thought: “GOOD,” Because each lesson shaped me into a better coach, competitor, business owner, friend, and Christ follower.

When people ask, “Where do I even begin to build better habits?” my answer is simple: go to the gym.

Because when you commit to training, you build mental fortitude—learning to make the next lift better than the last.

I say progress is slow but addictive and strength spills into better choices outside the gym. You sleep better. You work sharper. You show up with more energy for your kids—and actually enjoy playing with your new found energy and strength.

During my years at @bendthebarfitness_ I’ve fallen more times than I can count— in my businesses, through relationships, in bodybuilding. And every time, I’ve thought: “GOOD,” Because each lesson shaped me into a better coach, competitor, business owner, friend, and Christ follower.

When people ask, “Where do I even begin to build better habits?” my answer is simple: go to the gym.

Because when you commit to training, you build mental fortitude—learning to make the next lift better than the last.

I say progress is slow but addictive and strength spills into better choices outside the gym. You sleep better. You work sharper. You show up with more energy for your kids—and actually enjoy playing with your new found energy and strength.
